NexGard COMBO for Cats is a topical veterinary solution formulated with three active ingredients: esafoxolaner, eprinomectin and praziquantel. It is designed for cats and kittens and provides protection against multiple important external and internal parasites through a convenient topical application.

NexGard COMBO is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis and for the treatment and control of specified roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm infections. It also kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and the treatment and control of specified tick infestations for one month.

Multi-Parasite Protection for Cats

NexGard COMBO combines three active ingredients:

• Esafoxolaner – an isoxazoline compound active against fleas and ticks.
• Eprinomectin – an anthelmintic used against specified parasitic worms.
• Praziquantel – an anthelmintic used against tapeworms.

Each mL contains 12 mg esafoxolaner, 4 mg eprinomectin and 83 mg praziquantel.

Flea & Tick Protection

NexGard COMBO kills adult fleas and is indicated for treatment and prevention of flea infestations. It is also indicated for treatment and control of Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick) and Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick) infestations for one month in cats and kittens meeting the labeled age and weight requirements.

Heartworm Prevention

For heartworm prevention, NexGard COMBO is administered once monthly. The label states that treatment should start at least one month before the cat’s first expected mosquito exposure and continue monthly until at least three months after the cat’s last seasonal exposure.

Roundworm, Hookworm & Tapeworm Control

NexGard COMBO provides treatment and control of specified roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms, including Toxocara cati, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma braziliense and Dipylidium caninum, according to the product label. For treatment of the listed hookworm, roundworm and tapeworm infections, the label specifies a single dose, with monthly use controlling subsequent infections.

Convenient Topical Application

The product is applied directly to the cat’s skin at the midline of the neck, between the base of the skull and shoulder blades. The hair should be parted until the skin is visible, and the entire contents of the applicator should be applied directly to the skin in one spot. The application area should be dry and located where the cat cannot lick the product.

For Cats & Kittens

NexGard COMBO is indicated for cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older weighing 1.8 lb (0.8 kg) or greater.

Dosage & Applicator Guide

How to Apply

1. Keep the product in its original packaging until ready to use.
2. Cut the blister along the dotted line and remove the lid.
3. Hold the applicator upright, pull back the plunger slightly, then twist and remove the cap.
4. Part the hair on the midline of the neck between the base of the skull and shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
5. Place the applicator tip directly on the skin and apply the entire contents in one spot.
6. Apply to dry skin in an area the cat cannot lick.
7. Wash hands with soap and water after application.
